I have been called into the ministry by the grace of God. Having served in various capacities, I have learned a great deal about ministry. I have served churches in Kentucky and Georgia.

Buffalo Lick Baptist Church, Shelbyville KY YOUTH PASTOR (December 2003 – April 2006)

I can honestly say that my time at Buffalo Lick Baptist was one of the most enjoyable times I have had in ministry. During my time as the Youth Minister God blessed the church with significant growth in the student ministry department. The Youth ministry not only grew numerically but spiritually through small group study, summer camps and ministry teams. I also served as pulpit supply for a period of six months while the church was seeking a pastor.

Thornhill Baptist Church, Frankfort KY ASOCIATE PASTOR, YOUTH/ED (May 2006 – August 2008)

Throughout my time as Associate Pastor of Youth and Education I learned a great amount of ministry experience. I was able to work closely with the senior adult, Sunday school, media and outreach ministries. God began a work through the church to reach out to the local neighborhood with Youth Events such as Summer Survival Ministry in which we were able to share the Gospel with over 75 students. God again gave me the opportunity to fill the pulpit while the church was seeking a pastor.

Salem Baptist Church, Atlanta GA YOUTH/COLLEGE PASTOR (May 2008 – August 2009)

Transition and Growth are two words that could describe my time as Minister to High School and College at Salem Baptist Church. I was hired along with the Middle School Minister during a time of transition in the student ministry department. With the help of God and committed adults, the middle school pastor and I were able to shift the focus from BIG events to small groups and local missions. God blessed both the High School and College Ministries with attention given to small groups and “adopt” a college student ministry. My time at Salem was short due to my Mother-in-Law being diagnosed with an aggressive type of brain cancer. My wife and I met with the Pastor and decided it was best for my family to move back to KY in order to help as best we could.
