Psalm 150

My time in the Word today was in Psalm 150. It has brought to mind the way in which I live my life and the way others live theirs. Join the conversation.

1. Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens!
2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!
4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! In every situation let us give thanks, praise and everything we have in order to glorify our Heavenly Father. Question: Let everything that has breath; does this mean the non-believer? Something to think about.. Scripture says is 1 Corinthians 2:14: The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. We should not assume godly things for the ungodly i.e. expect the non-believer to act like believers. It should not surprise us, that those who are not believers, say ungodly things, listen to ungodly things, do ungodly things. The question is to us, are we different from the non-believer in what we say, listen to and our actions? Praise the Lord with everything you have.
