How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah Psalm 84:1-4
Hey there! This is a short update on where I have been, where I am now and where I am going. The above passage teaches us that no matter where we are, our longing should be for the courts, dwelling place of the Lord. If you were to ask my wife about me, she would tell you, that when I am not thinking up crazy plans I am doing this thing called Army. Since November 14, 2011, I have been on orders to Camp Atterbury, Indiana. I have been there training soldiers who are on their way overseas. I have enjoyed this mission and often find myself torn between missing my family and helping soldiers learn the tasks that may save their lives.
Alas, I am home for a much needed two week break and excited to spend time with my family. I will head back to Camp Atterbury on the 28th of February and will be there through September 30, 2012. This will be a tough time and a long time away from my family. I ask for your prayers and thank you for the support.
God allows us to walk through tough times so that we can comfort one another because He comforts us.
